This is near the beginning of the resurrection, back in 1995!
(September 1st, 2002)
I bought it over the internet from photos and phone conversations with
the previous owner. It looked good on the outside but only KINDA ran
and had LOTS of things wrong, incorrect and unfinished. It would start
and run but wouldn't hardly drive down the street. All the electrical and
mechanical was a mess plus LOTS more things that needed attention.
So this is where the story REALLY begins.

After years of work and LOTS of money the following is the end result.
truck mounted (dual, one on each side for better weight distribution) Optima batteries with external shot-off switch...
After correcting all the electrical then I began on the the mechanical.
frame stiffeners running the full length of the car..

new 9" inch rear end with 3:70 posi gears, Currie axles, braided lines, Kevlar rear brakes & traction bars....
new 450 H.P. 347 stroker 289 small block with Jet Hot coated headers
Kevlar clutch, Pro 5.0 shifter and hydraulic clutch with scatter shield
the most labor intensive part of the whole job- to install the TREMEC TKO 5 speed
custom made center tunnel and supports
custom made rear trany mount
Then came the interior....I hate rattles and road noise! OVER 2" of floor insulation...
yes that's right house insulation & King Size pillows stuffed in for sound deadening...
Notice that I reupholstered the seats in leather...
Power windows, power door locks, keyless entry and alarm...
Lots of sophisticated performance electronics and safety devices....plus A/C
Hydraulic clutch system...
my custom designed (aluminum) front Air Foil, Spal electric fan, aluminum radiator, spill tank & cover...
5 leaf H.D. rear springs with Poly bushings and Performance shackles...
that's right 3" front to back with Electric (remote) cut-outs
electric 140 gal a minute fuel supply system...
BAER disc brakes with dual master cylinder and proportioning valve...
wheel cap covers that I made from aluminum
